A Brief History of the Building

1912:  Andrew Carnegie gave $5,000 to the town to build the library.  $2000 was raised by the Lakeville Library Sewing Circle.

2005:  The Lakeville Free Public Library moved out of the building into a new and larger facility, right across the street.

2007: The Somethin's Brewin' Book Cafe opened in the former library building.

This building now houses a beverage and book-related business.
